Another town along the coast?
Lignano Sabbiadoro, Chioggia and Cavallino-Treporti are on the price list too, and so is any address between them. Give us the hotel or the campsite and a real person replies with one all-inclusive figure.
The Adriatic resorts are not on the railway
Jesolo has no station at all
The nearest is San Donà di Piave, about ten kilometres inland, and you would still need a bus or a taxi from there to the seafront.
Portogruaro-Caorle is in Portogruaro
The station carries the name and sits twenty kilometres from the sea. Travellers find this out on the platform, with their cases.
The peninsula is one long road
Union Lido, Marina di Venezia, Ca' Savio and the rest sit kilometres apart along the same road. The campsite name is the address, not the town.
Changeover day is the worst day
Most hotels here run Saturday to Saturday. That is when the seafront fills and the coach queues form, and when a car that comes to you is worth most.

Is there a train from Venice Airport to Jesolo or Caorle?
Not to either. Jesolo has no station and the one named Portogruaro-Caorle is twenty kilometres inland. A seasonal coach runs in summer but sets you down at a bus terminal, not your hotel.
Do you drop off at the hotel or at a meeting point?
At the door, or as close as the pedestrian scheme allows on the seafronts and in the old towns. We check the address before the day and tell you where the car can stop.
Is the price per person or per vehicle?
Per vehicle, up to seven passengers with luggage, so a family pays what a couple would.
Do you go to the Cavallino campsites?
Yes, to the gate. Tell us which site: they run for kilometres along the same road and the receptions are not interchangeable.
Do you carry pushchairs, cots and beach equipment?
Yes, at no extra charge. Tell us the number of pieces when you book so we send a vehicle with the room rather than discover it at arrivals.
Can you collect us very early for a morning flight?
Yes. Early departures are normal here and the published price holds from 07:00 to 22:00, with the night rate outside those hours told to you before you book.
