About 1 hour 50 minutes for the 160 km, almost entirely on the A4 motorway. It is the fastest of our cruise-port routes and the one least affected by weather.
Trieste's cruise terminal is the Stazione Marittima, on the seafront in the city centre, a few minutes' walk from Piazza Unità d'Italia. MSC and Royal Caribbean use it as a homeport. We drive to the terminal building itself.
Including the options that cost less than us. With luggage or a group the private transfer wins on time and hassle; travelling alone on a budget, public transport is a fair call.

A real person checks your request and replies by email, 08:00 to 18:00 CET. You secure the booking by paying in advance, and the vehicle is held for you. Send us your flight number and we track it: the pickup shifts automatically if you land early or late.
Your driver waits inside the arrivals hall with a name sign, takes the luggage and walks you to the car.

For MSC and Royal Caribbean departures we drive onto the terminal forecourt where the porters are, not to the public car park. Give us the ship name and sailing time and we plan the pickup around the boarding window.
Trieste's centre is compact and largely ZTL-restricted. As a licensed NCC we can access the restricted zone, so you are dropped at your hotel door rather than at the edge of the old town.
Morning transfers from the terminal to Venice Airport leave from 06:00. The A4 is predictable, so a 3-hour margin before an international departure is comfortable.
Trieste is 30 minutes from the Slovenian border. We also run Ljubljana, Piran, Portorož and Istria. Ask for a fixed quote when you book.
A metered taxi runs about €350–420 for the 160 km. Our private transfer is €500 fixed, booked in advance with a driver waiting inside arrivals.
Not from the airport. You would take the bus to Venice Mestre station and a train onward, around 3 h 30 in total with a change and your luggage. Trains run to Trieste Centrale, a 15-minute walk from the cruise terminal.

Yes. Licensed NCC vehicles are authorised to enter Trieste's restricted traffic zone, so we reach hotels in the old town that ordinary cars cannot.
