Venice Airport to Arabba: the facts

01

How much is a private transfer from Venice Airport to Arabba?

€420 fixed, per vehicle (up to 7 passengers), all inclusive. Tolls, parking, fuel, taxes and meet & greet are in the price. It is per vehicle, so six friends pay what two would.

02

How long does the transfer from VCE to Arabba take?

About 2 hours 30 minutes for the 175 km. The last hour climbs the Cordevole valley and gains more than 1,500 m: in snow it is slower, and your driver watches the road before setting off.

03

Is there a train or bus from Venice Airport to Arabba?

No railway reaches Arabba, and no bus runs from the airport. By public transport you would travel to Belluno, change to a valley bus for Agordo, then change again: most of a day with ski bags, and the last connections finish early in the afternoon.

Four steps, no surprises

Tell us the trip

Route, date, flight, luggage. Prices are published on every route page, so you know the range before you write.

We confirm your price

A real person checks your request and replies by email, 08:00 to 18:00 CET. You secure the booking by paying in advance, and the vehicle is held for you. Send us your flight number and we track it: the pickup shifts automatically if you land early or late.

Meet your driver

Your driver waits inside the arrivals hall with a name sign, takes the luggage and walks you to the car.

Door to door

about 2 hours 30 minutes later you are at your address in Arabba. Nothing changes hands on the day: the fare was settled when you confirmed.

The Sellaronda from its highest village

Arabba is where the circuit starts high and stays high

1,602 m, and it shows

Arabba is the highest of the four Sellaronda villages, which is why its slopes hold snow when lower resorts are struggling. The cable car to Porta Vescovo leaves from the village itself: you can be on the circuit without moving the car.

Winter-equipped vehicles

From November to April every car runs winter tyres and carries chains. The climb from Caprile to Arabba is the part that matters, and our drivers do it through the season.

Skis, boards and boot bags travel free

Quoted separately from the transfer. Tell us the number of pieces when booking so we send a vehicle with the space.

Passes and weather

Arabba sits between the Pordoi and the Campolongo. Both can close briefly after heavy snowfall, and the valley road stays open: we take the route that is running on the day rather than the one on the map.

FAQ

Venice Airport to Arabba: your questions

Can you take us on to the other Sellaronda villages?

Yes. Canazei, Corvara, Selva and Colfosco are all short hops from Arabba, and we drive them daily. If your group splits between two villages we can do both drop-offs in one journey: ask for the combined price.

How are skis and snowboards charged?

No. Separately from the transfer. Tell us how many pieces when you book and the figure you receive already covers them, with nothing added on the day. Seven passengers with seven ski bags means a Sprinter rather than a V-Class, so tell us the numbers and we size the vehicle.

What happens if my flight is delayed?

We track the flight in real time and move the pickup automatically. Waiting at Venice Airport is free for 60 minutes from the moment you actually land, and your driver is inside arrivals with your name sign.

Is the road to Arabba difficult in winter?

It is a mountain road, cleared and salted through the season. Our vehicles carry winter tyres and chains as Italian law requires, and the drivers know where it drifts. If the authorities close the road we tell you at once and rebook or refund in full.

Is the price per person or per vehicle?

Per vehicle. €420 covers up to 7 passengers with luggage and skis, which works out around €60 each for a full car, door to door and with no changes.

Can you collect us in Arabba for the flight home?

Yes, booked the same way at the same fixed price. Early departures are normal here: we plan backwards from your flight and allow for the descent.
